Setting date, time, and time zone
You can use Edit Date Time Settings dialog box to manually set the date, time, and time zone for your storage system. You cannot modify the date, time, and time zone settings for the unimpaired partner node or the failed node in an active/active configuration after a takeover occurs.
Steps
1.
From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system to display a subtree of management features.
2.
Click Configuration > System Tools > DateTime.
3.
Click Edit.
4.
Click Manual Entry to specify the time zone, date, date, and time for your storage system.
5.
If you want to use a time daemon to set the date and time, click Automatic.
6.
Select either SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol) or RDate as the time protocol.
Note: You can specify up to five time servers to synchronize time. The Up, Down, and Delete buttons are disabled if you delete all the time servers from the list.
7.
Click OK.
8.
You can use the DateTime Date/Time/Timezone window to verify the changes you made to the date and time settings.
